Day 5: A Luxury
My husband bought me two roses bushes when we moved into our first house. They are both planted by our front door and produce these gorgeous roses. At the time the bushes were not cheap. I spent the first months terrified that they would die and I would have wasted our precious money. There are several costs that come with a new home, and these beautiful bushes were definitely a luxury. I have put a lot of hard work into growing these flowers. I like to think they reflect my marriage. Marriage is a lot of work, but when you take the time to cultivate it and to deal with the thorns and trim back the things don't belong, something beautiful is produced. I love looking at these flowers and the beautiful reminders they are to me.
